STEM education is a teaching and learning approach, which emphasizes the connections among—or the integration of—knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to address problems facing our communities as well as larger global issues that require a skilled workforce and knowledgeable citizens who can apply these skills and knowledge to develop solutions.
